Bond Information 2023 Frequently Asked Questions. What is a Bond Issue? A bond issue is a traditional way for schools to borrow money to pay for major school maintenance and repair projects, such as adding security measures or upgrading deteriorating areas. With a Bond Issue, the school district must use the funds for the projects listed in the ballot language. Will the Bond Issue raise my Taxes? No. This is a NO TAX INCREASE Bond Issue, meaning voter approval will not increase the District’s current debt service tax levy, which is dedicated to the repayment of bonds.

SENIOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS: We are in the process of preparing the Reflections video for the Class of 2023 (the video shown prior to senior awards). In doing so, we need your help! We are looking for photographs (digital copies preferred, but prints accepted) and videos of this year’s seniors. Specifically, we are looking for pictures from preschool graduation through senior year (please no sports action photos). In terms of video, please bring us any video from birthday parties, winter programs, or individual videos…we are looking for all types. The more videos and photos that we have, the better the senior video will be! Please label everything that is submitted so that we know to whom it needs to be returned. Photos and videos from Facebook will not work, so please do not send in those files. Emailed material can be sent to lrollison@marcelineschools.org, or hard copies can be given to either Mr. Rollison or Mrs. Rollison.
SENIOR PHOTOS NEEDED: All seniors need to submit a senior picture to Mrs. Rollison for use in the graduation slideshow. Photos need to be vertical in format and should be submitted by Monday, April 03. Students who do not submit a senior photo will instead have their composite picture used in the slideshow.
