Dear Marceline R-V Community:
As of 1:00 p.m. today, March 7th, 2023, The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) publicly released the Annual Performance Report (APR) scores for Missouri school districts. The APR is meant to demonstrate the progress that school districts are making toward meeting the MSIP 6 Standards and Indicators. The MSIP 6 APR was redesigned to better distinguish the performance of school districts, which allows them to reflect upon their performance.
The Good News
The Marceline R-V School District scored a 95.6% overall on the 2022 APR Report. The areas of "Performance" and "Continuous Improvement" were scored to generate this overall percentage. Ultimately, the Marceline R-V School District has the highest score of any K-12 school district in the entire state of Missouri! Overall, this is the best possible news that we could receive regarding the APR.
We owe so much praise to our students, staff, and administrators for this honor; their hard work and consistent dedication to academic excellence are evident each and every day. In the coming weeks, we will find ways to celebrate the success found in this report because this is definitely something worth getting excited about.
Overall, I am proud of the culture of excellence that is fostered by all of our stakeholders in this school district. We will continue to strive for excellence as we move closer to the end of the school year and beyond.
As always, it’s a great day to be a Tiger!
Respectfully,
Dr. Zach Bruner, Superintendent
